You'll have to excuse me for the late PAX East recap but I came down with a nice week long case of the PAX Flu/PAX Plague... PAX Pox? Whatever you want to call it. It was evil.
Completely worth it though!
I had a fantastic time at PAX East this year. It was certainly a new experience to be working there as well as cosplaying and being a normal fangirl/attendee!
I got less time to fangirl on the show floor, but more time to meet talented industry folks and fellow Gears of War fans! The VIP party times were a new experience as well and I enjoyed them thoroughly!
I picked up some great swag items and got to see Assassin's Creed 3 gameplay, which was definitely one of the show floor highlights.
The biggest highlight was debuting my dream costume, Anya Stroud, for the first time! The costume was really well received and I had a fantastic time meeting fans of the series at the Epic Games panel and the Cosplay Meetup we held a the Triforce booth! Epic Gamers are the best gamers!
Before hitting the show floor Saturday and helped me grab some quick photos of the costume to share with you all! I was amazed at what accomplished with only the outside of the BCEC as our location and roughly 30 minutes to work with for shots! She's mad talented! We're planning a much bigger themed shoot when I've had a chance to tweak the costume and replace the wig (the wig you see in the pictures was a stand-in. I messed up the intended wig 2 days before con...but that's another story!)
Thanks for reading and commenting! I hope you enjoy the photos as much as I did!

Daily Deviation!
One of my Anya photos received the honor of a Daily Deviation today! http://pixelk1tty.deviantart.com/art/Broken-Hearts-and-Broken-Minds-308239169
I was so incredibly surprised to see this when I logged in this morning. I am overwhelmed with all of the kind comments and favorites and new watches on the page that I can't even begin to explain it! I normally try to respond to each comment individually so if I haven't yet please know that I intend to and that whether I reach that goal or not I really appreciate every single comment and read them all :)
You all ROCK. That is all.
Crafting Armor at the speed of light!
Working hard on my Anya Stroud costume - hoping to make the PAX East finish line.
I'm basically devoting every waking moment of my freetime to this alone until April 5th - I'm both dreading and looking forward to that crazy cosplay crunch schedule.
I can't wait to have something finished to show though, that's what keeps me going :)
I get to work with leather and attempt almost full body armor crafting (Thank GOD it's not full body!)
What is everyone else working on lately? :3 WISH ME LUCK!
1,000 page views!

That costume is crazy amazing. What happened to the wig?
